In life I constantly challenge myself to gain enough momentum to reach the next goal . This takes hibernation , reading , journaling , and LOTS of prayer . I pull back from my environment and I begin to make a change . This isn't something I just decide , I have to pray and plot for a very long time to finally gain enough courage to face the challenge . I've learned through out the years that in order for me to be able to live at my highest potential in this lifetime , I have to discipline myself and observe .
After accomplishing my dream to be a celebrity makeup artist I have reached what I call " the glass ceiling." I like to describe the glass ceiling as reaching a goal and wanting to break out of that glass to get to more things in other places . Adventurous I'd say . I feel my spirit is ready to move on to the next thing in my journey . I am a 23 year old young black women with a lot of dreams , goals , and knowledge to share with the world. The past couple of years of my life I have been through some crazy stuff . I lost 2 friends in a car accident , went through a mentally abusive relationship , started my own business , and made some stupid decisions in between. I grew , I grew more than I could've ever imagined and I stayed alert to learn the lessons that were being taught through every event .
My change is me digging into what I do everyday which is motivate others and allow my spirit to speak freely through me . I asked for change , now its here and I have to embrace it . Am I scared ? hmmmm a little lol , because I was so use to my everyday life but I am ready to take another big leap of faith . I am ready for the next chapter of my journey and it all starts with my daughter . I am very thankful for everyone who has supported me always and continues to support me . It only gets better from here , I promise . I'm a very ambitious individual and when I want something I go out and get it with hard work , prayer , and patience .
Lets remember , change = Growth . We have to see change happen to grown to what we are truly called to be . I want to take advantage of my time here on earth and I am going to do just that ! Be careful with telling everyone your dreams and goals . You will see people will doubt you , not intentionally , they just don't have the same logic as you . Show them you can , but be sure to not let that be your motivation . Live your life to the fullest and never apologize for doing that . Sometimes you only need your own opinion and not the confusing opinion of everyone else around you . Recognize you're powerful and can do ANYTHING your heart desires :)
